Hi, Very interesting your project, I have a pair of RS241 and also be planning an amp with them, Your Luhndal has how many k, and are you satisfied with the sound? And the hum?Best regards Josef
hi, i used Lundahl LL1620, "C" configured (6K:8R / 11K:16R). the amp sounds really amazing, with lot of power (A1 class) and no hum at all, even with 96dB Cabasse. future implementation could be RE084 LC coupled, instead of half 6sn7 RC...
Hi again, long time not heard, now i am into the RS241 Projekt, i have a pair Of RE604 Monos selfmade, and now i change them with other kathode resistor 330Ohm and 3,8V heater and 10k OPT, i will tell when its working

driver is just half 6sn7 (6j5). next upgrade will be re084 LC coupled.
boptura, did you finally try the RE084 LC coupled way?Francisco
Hi, I built an amp with RS242/E130 triode a few years ago. Flea power A1 (~ 0.8W) but really good sounding on my Klipsch La Scala. I am thinking pushing A2 with a current source in the cathode ( ZZ1040 ) and a cathode follower choke loaded to allow grid current under low output impedance. Nice blog and nice work.Fred
Nice project!Fred, could you share the schem of the RS242/E130 amp?Francisco
